Founded on the 20 January in 1990, Victim Support South Africa - VSSA has been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon: we want to see pieces of change in this crazy world we live in. 16 Days of Actvism Against Women & Children Abused.

25 November to 10 December 2018

The Domestic Violence Act, 1998 (116 of 1998) allows a victim of domestic abuse or violence to seek a Protection Order.16 Days of Activism is to make women aware of there rights. If you a lawyer and would like to give some of you time to inform women about there rights please contact us. Your can make a difference.

Annual Auction Gala

This event is our Annual Fundriasing event for our community and busines to donate any items that we could auction towards our women shelter and substance abuse programme. Young people enter high/primary school, and face additional social, psyhological, and educational challenges. These challenges increase the risk that they will abuse alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. This is your event and without your ongoing support we cannot exist.

Therapeutic & Counselling

SERVICES RENDERED

We provide 24 hour crisis emergency response for 960 abused women with their dependent children to enable them to leave violent situations.
Women and children admitted to the shelter, for a period uo to 6 months are engaged in an integrated therapeutic program in accordance with the Individual development plan unique to his/her needs. Individual counseling and supports groups offered.
